We have a limited number of music ministries at St. Andrew's United Church and particapate in worship on special occassions. New members are always welcome, and that includes people without musical training. If you have the interest in singing or playing hand bells, we'll help teach you the skills you need to sing or play!
Bell Choir
Our bell choir rehearses with the capable leadership of Mrs. Cheryl Poole. We have three full octaves of bells, and our choir has a good mixture of beginners and experienced ringers.
Vocal Choir
Our adult vocal choir rehearses under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Susan Cooper. We are a small, but mighty ensemble ranging in age. We sing from a wide range of musical styles, from spirituals to jazz, contemporary praise music to classic hymns, and many kinds of two-part choral anthems.
Accompanists
We are blessed to have a rotation of pianists/organists to accompany our congregational worship services on a weekly basis, and to provide music for special services and for weddings and funerals. We currently enjoy the musical talents of Mrs. Michele Patton and Mrs. Gladys Moncks at the keyboard.
